The 3 days Uganda gorilla safari takes you to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, the home to the highest population of mountain gorillas in the whole world. It entails hiking in Uganda’s oldest and virgin impenetrable forest which also a home to over 90 mammals,various plant species and roughly 360 birds. The trip starts and ends in Uganda
- Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest park
Arrival at the airport, and after a short brief, your driver/guide will pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest a home to the mountain gorillas. You’ll have a stop over for lunch and relief after which you will proceed to Bwindi. This will take you approximately 4 hours to reach the national park. Dinner and overnight at Bakiga lodge/Gorilla mist camp.Day 2: Gorilla trekking Adventure
Wake up early, have break fast and at 7:00am transfer to the national park headquarters for briefing. At arou8nd 8:00am, you will transfer to the trekking starting point and follow various trails in the forest in search of the gorillas. This may take you between 2-6 hours but the experience is surely memorable. On reaching the gorillas, you will spend an hour observing their behaviors and taking photographs after which you will descend back to the lodge forest. In the evening, visit the Batwa pygmies, the traditional forest dwellers who will demonstrate to you about their forest life.Dinner and overnight at the lodge (Day 1).Day 3: Drive back to Kigali/Kampala
Transfer back to Kigali/Kampala, through gatuna border for the Airport, arrive in time for your scheduled flight back home.End of the Tour
The 4 Days Wildlife & Gorilla Uganda Safari combined tour entailing mountain gorilla trekking in the Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, ishasha tree climbing lions, wildlife viewing and launch cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park. The tour starts and ends in Uganda.
- Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Wildlife park – Afternoon Launch cruise
In the morning, you will leave kampala and transfer to queen elizabeth national park stopping at the equator for photography reaching in the afternoon. check in at the lodge, have lunch and refresh waiting for the afternoon launch cruise at kazinga channel. At 2:00 go for the boat cruise which provide you with great view of the various wild and bird life on the water shores. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya safari lodge/ Katara lodge/park view lodge/Enganzi Lodge.Day 3: Ishasha – Bwindi national park
After breakfast at 8:00 am transfer to Ishasha – the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park in search of tree climbing lions. It is approximately an hour’s drive from Mweya to Ishasha Gate. At 10:00 am lions begin climbing fig trees as they seek shelter in the tree branches from the scorching sunshine and relaxing after a night and morning feast on the antelopes.At 13:00 O’clock transfer to Savannah Hotel for a hot lunch and later proceed to Bwindi national park for an evening Batwa (Pygmies) community walk. Overnight stay at Gorilla Forest Camp / Mahogany Springs
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Adventure, Cultural walk to Batwa People
You will have morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before trekking. From there, you will hike into the forest following different trails in the forest in follow of the allocated gorilla family. From there with the lead of an armed ranger, hike into the forest in search of a mountain gorilla family which will take you between 3o minutes and a whole day depending on the movement and location of the gorillas that day but you are greatly assured of seeing these endangered species. In the evening, you will visit the batwa pygmies communities who will introduce you to their traditional forest life. Dinner and overnight at the lodge (Day 2).Day 4: Departure

Day 1: Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Our drive guide will pick you up from the airport and transfer you by road for a 4hrs journey via Gatuna Border to Bwindi Impenetrable Nat Park. Proceed to Buhoma for your lunch and an evening Batwa (Pygmies) community walk. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.Mahogany Springs Lodge / Gorilla Forest Camp
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking
Wake up very early in the morning for your breakfast afterwards, you will proceed to the National Park headquarters to meet your guides for the day. After completing the park formalities, we are embarking on a once in a life time experience of tracking mountain gorillas. Once you spot them you are allowed to spend an hour watching your closest long lost cousin. Return to your hotel for lunch and later dinner and overnight. Mahogany Springs Lodge / Gorilla Forest Camp
Day 3: Bwindi – Kibale forest
After your breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale forest national park that allows you a visit to the palace of the youngest king in the world (Tooro kingdom palace) for a cultural and historical brief, depending on the time we leave Bwindi, we can carry with us packed lunch or lunch shall be served in Fort portal town before proceeding to visit the crater lakes and then head to your hotel for a night before yet an exciting activity of Chimpanzee tracking.: Crater Safari Lodge / Primates Lodge – Kibale / Ndali Lodge / Kyaninga Lodge
Day 4: Chimp Trekking and Nature walk
At 6:30 am, take your breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing by the park ranger. At 8:30 am you will transfer to the beginning of the tracking trail. Usually it takes a minimum of 3 hours tracking the chimps in the forest. After the chimp trek return to the lodge for a hot lunch as you prepare to go for an evening nature walk in the Bigodi wetland. Expect to see some primates including different monkey species; and a plethora of birds including the great blue turaco. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 5: Departure
Enjoy your breakfast and transfer to Kigali airport in Rwanda through the spectacular and picturesque hills of Kigezi popularly known as ‘the Switzerland of Africa’. This is a 4 to 5 hours drive depending on the time spent at Katuna border post clearing with immigration office.

Day 3: Depart For Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast we will drive to queen Elizabeth Nat park and reach Mweya in Queen Elizabeth NP at midday, with a stunningly beautiful view over Kazinga Channel. You will check in at your accommodation and have lunch, and in the late afternoon (4.00- 7.00pm) we will go on a game drive. dinner and overnight at your lodge Pumba safari cottages
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
This day is for a game drive on the plains of Queen Elizabeth NP, with thousands of Ugandan kobs, lions, elephants etc. Also on the programme is a two hours launch trip on the Kazinga channel where we will see all the animals from the waterside. Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kigali Airport
Early in the morning departure with an enroute game drive to Kigali through Gatuna border for your homebound flight.
