The 1 day Rwanda gorilla trek takes you to the Volcanoes National Park a home to the remaining endangered mountain gorillas in the mist, which have stayed due to the effort of Dian Fossey once the great primatologist that was killed by the local hunters in Rwanda. Activities encountered include Rwanda gorilla trekking, Rwanda gorilla safaris, and Rwanda tours!
Early morning breakfast, and meet with our guide at around 4.am and journey to Musanze and around 8.am you will be at the volcanoes headquarters for briefing about the endangered mountain gorillas and the volcanoes as well. Thereafter enter the forest to track GORILLAS. When you meet with the gorillas you can take photos and/or videos. This will normally take you until midday, then return to base for your gorilla trekking certificate and lunch. Then drive back to Kigali to your lodge. End of services

The 2 days Rwanda gorilla safari takes you to the Volcanoes National Park, the habitat of endangered mountain gorillas. This is a unique experience to enjoy which includes the Rwanda gorilla tours, Rwanda gorilla safaris, Rwanda gorilla adventure, and Rwanda gorilla trekking! From this park you have the golden monkey tracking and the visit to the Dian Fossey center where the late Dian Fossey was buried after being killed by the local hunters for the mountain gorillas in the mist!
Day1: Kigali-Volcanoes National Park
In the morning – Enjoy breakfast before driving to Musanze and on your way have the en-route visit to some of the genocide memorial centre and then have lunch at one of Musanze’s best restaurants.
In the Afternoon – visit to the twin Lakes (Burera and Ruhondo) and afterwards return to lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight, meal plan: H/B
Day2: Rwanda gorilla Trekking-Kigali
Enjoying breakfast, followed by transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for briefing about the endangered mountain gorillas and the volcanoes as well, after enter the forest to track GORILLAS. Day 2: Volcanoes National Park – Mountain Gorillas trek
After your morning wake-up call and breakfast, report to the park headquarters, for gorilla trekking formalities and briefing by the Volcanoes National Park’s guides on the gorillas’ etiquette. You will be assigned to a specific group of gorillas. Your trek will vary in length depending on which gorilla group you have been assigned to.After locating your assigned Gorilla group you will spend one hour in their company before retracing your steps back down the volcano slopes. Have lunch at the lodge. Afternoon, enjoy the scenic transfer back to Kigali.

Day 3: Kigali City Tour – Departure

Kinigi guesthouse is situated on the foothills of the Virungas of Rwanda at the bottom of Sabyinyo volcanic mountain. It is a comfortable base to the panoramic commanding beauty of the volcanic mountain ranges of Virunga and the natural habitat of the rare mountain gorillas. The proximity and ideal location of Kinigi Guest House make the early morning gorilla trekking departures from the office much more convenient.
Day 2: Volcanoes National Park – Mountain Gorillas trek
After your morning wake-up call and breakfast, drive to the park headquarters, for gorilla trekking formalities and briefing by the Volcanoes National Park’s guides on the gorillas’ etiquette. You will be assigned to a specific group of gorillas. Your trek will vary in length depending on which gorilla group you have been assigned to. After locating your assigned Gorilla group you will spend one hour in their company before retracing your steps back down the volcano slopes. Have lunch at the lodge. Afternoon spent at leisure with an optional visit to the little known but compellingly beautiful twin lakes of BULERA and RUHONDO.

Day 3: Golden Monkeys trek – Departure
After an early breakfast, again drive to the park headquarters where you will have briefings and formalities for the Golden monkeys trekking. The Golden monkeys are rare, beautiful and distinctive bamboo-associated primates of the blue monkey family and Endemic to the Albertine Rift Valley. These adorable apes will keep you marveling in wonder of how they carry out their daily activities, and the way they are closely related to the human beings, they are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in fruiting trees. After Golden monkeys trek, have lunch and then enjoy the scenic transfer back to Kigali – with onward transfer to the airport for your evening outbound flight.

Have breakfast, after transfer to the volcanoes headquarters for briefing about the endangered mountain gorillas and the volcanoes as well, after enter into the tropical rain forest searching for the mountain gorillas and when you meet with the gorillas take the photos, videos and then have your lunch, after return to the park offices for your gorilla trekking certificate. Then in the evening visit the Dian Fossey center and from here experience the conservation effort she did to save these endangered mountain gorillas in the mist and it was due to these gorillas that she lost her life and she was buried in this forest! Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, meal plan: F/B
Day3: Second gorilla trekking experience but to another different gorilla family and then in the evening take the cultural experience to the ibychwa community. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, meal plan: F/B
Day4: Golden monkey tracking-Kigali
Have breakfast, after go for the early golden monkey tracking and this is done at closer view of the other primates in the park like the red tailed monkeys, Vervet monkeys among other. Have lunch and then drive back to Kigali to your lodge or airport for your return flight back home. End of services

Day 2: Kigali – Nyungwe Forest National Park
After breakfast, take up Kigali City tour including Kigali Genocide Museum (a grim reminder of senseless massacre of innocent lives in 1994). Thereafter, drive to Nyungwe. On the way, visit the Nyanza Royal Palace, National Museum, have lunch at Butare before proceeding to Nyungwe N/Park.

Day 3: Nyungwe Forest National Park – Chimps trek and Bird watching
After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for trekking formalities then depart for a hike into Nyungwe Forest in search of chimps. There is a lot more in Nyungwe than just chimps. Colobus Monkeys, Mangabeys, various other primate species and lots of forest dwelling birds will be encountered on the way. For those interested in botany, the flora in Nyungwe comes as an added bonus, after trek drive back to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon, visit the nearby Tea plantations.

Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, enjoy the scenic drive back to Kigali proceeding to the Airport for your departure flight.

Then drive to Uganda via Kisoro and visit to Lake Mutanda and then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will experience the wildlife, boat cruise and other sightseeing!
Day1: Kigali-Akagera National Park
After your breakfast meet our guide/driver and then transfer to Akagera national park which habits the Rwandan wildlife species like the elephants, buffaloes, Zebras among others and this can be done upon your arrival in the park and then you will have your dinner and overnight at Akagera Game lodge/Ruzizi Safari Camp. Day2: Game drive & Boat ride
Have breakfast and after go the early morning game drive searching for some of the big 5 of Africa which include the lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards and other wildlife species like the warthogs, antelopes, water and bush bucks, Kob, topi. This experience takes 3-4 hours and after return to lodge for lunch, and then in the afternoon drive to the starting point of the boat ride along the lake Ihema and on this cruise expect to spot wildlife and birds and they provide stunning photographs. Day3: Akagera national park-Volcanoes National park
Have breakfast and after embark the safari vehicle and transfer to volcanoes national park via Kigali with lunch en-route and then dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge/Virunga Safari Lodge/Laplame Lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Day6: Kisoro-Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have breakfast, after embark the safari vehicle and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha southern sector with the view of the tree climbing lions, after transfer to Mweya peninsula where you will experience your boat cruise along the Kazinga channel and on this cruise expect to spot the wildlife species and birds along the banks of the channel. Transfer to Mweya lodge/jacana lodge/Katara lodge/Bush lodge/Enganzi lodge. Meal plan: F/B
Day7: Game drive-Kampala
Have breakfast and after go the early morning game drive searching for some of the big 5 of Africa which include the lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards and other wildlife species like the warthogs, antelopes, water and bush bucks, Uganda Kob, topi. This experience takes 3-4 hours and after return to lodge for lunch, and then transfer back to Kampala with the stop at the equator for photos, buys snacks and then drive to the airport for your return flight.
